COMPUTER USAGE: Students must check out laptops from the library, they will no longer available from the writing lab. Also, the Chromebooks are reserved for teacher checkout only.
Jackson Electric Ambassadors: There will be a meeting Friday the 6th at noon in the auditorium.
GIRLS SWIM TEAM AND BOYS SOCCER: Next fall we will be cooping girls swim team and boys soccer team with Black River Falls. If you are interested in competing on either team, let Connie know in the office.
SENIORTRIP: There is a sheet up on the counter to check if you are planning to go on the class trip. There will be a $10.00 commitment fee when you sign up. The $10.00 will be returned to you when you get on the bus that day. If you commit and do not attend you forfeit your money. If you do not go on the class trip you must be in school that day.
SENIOR BREAKFAST: Wednesday May 11th. Report to 1st hour for attendance and the bus will leave at 8:30. You must ride the bus. Cost is $1.00.
GEO: GEO forms are available outside the office window if you are interested in participating in any summer classes. You will need to fill out a form for any of the classes even if you are taking drivers ed or weight training, band and choir or any of the other options open to high school. REMINDER - GET YOUR FORMS IN ASAP.
GENTLE REMINDERS: Now that the warm weather has finally arrived here are some reminders regarding clothing taken from page 10 in the student handbook located in your assignment notebook. "No students shall be permitted to wear the following: strapless tops, one-sleeved tops, spaghetti-strap tops (straps must be a minimum of 3 inches wide), low-cut tops, halter tops, midriff-baring tops and/or bottoms . Skirts, dresses, and/or shorts must be at least the length of mid-thigh." Thank you for adhereing to the dress code.
9TH HOUR STUDY HALL: Tuesday in Mrs. King's room. Wednesday and Thursday in Mr. Ebert's room.
SENIORS: Check with Meghan Ramsey to see how much you owe for class dues. The funds are needed for graduation expenses and the class trip.

INFORMATION YOU STILL NEED TO KNOW:
WEIGHT ROOM:The weight room will be open on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings at 6:30 AM with the exception of a late start.
ATHLETES: Reminder that the trainer is here on Monday and Thursday mornings if you need to be seen for an injury. Sign up sheet is in the office if you need to be seen.
INFINITE CAMPUS: If you would like to be able to get the mobile ap go into Infinite Campus Portal and log in. From there it will give you directions for setting up your mobil ap.
STUDENT PARKING LOT: When there is fresh snow please park close to the building so the parking lot can get plowed. They clear the area closest to the building first.
RECYCLING: Please recycle your empty glass or plastic bottles in the aluminum can bucket in each room.
STUDENT DRIVERS: Please use the driveway by to the baseball field to enter and exit. The buses need the driveway closest to the school. We are trying to avoid bottlenecks and also for safety sake. When it snows please try to park close to the building and not out near the baseball field so the custodians can get the parking lot cleared.
STUDENT OF THE MONTH: This year the staff at Melrose-Mindoro High School will be recognizing students each month for their positive behavior and positive contributions. At the end of each month students will be nominated and selected by the High School staff for a student of the month award. Students selected for Student of the Month honors will be notified during the first week of the following month. Know this...your attitude, behavior and efforts are appreciated.
ABSENCES: If you are planning to be gone for more than one day you must have it approved by Mr. Arzt and fill out a pink sheet available in the office.
FOR STUDENTS THAT ARE DROPPED OFF IN THE MORNING OR PICKED UP IN THE AFTERNOON: Please ask your parents to use the north or south parking lots. For safety reasons we are trying to keep cars out of the bus lane during bus drop off and pick up times. Thank for your cooperation.
STUDENT DRIVERS: Reminder: When you come upon a school bus with its red lights on/flashing, you must stop AND wait until the light go off before you proceed, whether the stop arm is in out. YOU MUST STOP AND WAIT.
WANT TO KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH THE OLD STUFF: Remember to bring your old cell phones, ink cartridges, and laser jet cartridges to the school office to be recycled.
COLLECTING FOR SCHOOLS: The school is collecting the Kwik Trip milk caps on specially marked milk containers, Campbells Soup Lables and Box Top for Education. Please save and drop them off to the High School Office.
