LETTER JACKETS: MECA will be here on Tuesday October 7th during the lunch periods to take orders. A $75.00 deposit is requested at the time.
REMINDER TO ALL: But especially the Freshmen and new students. Please recycle your plastic and glass bottles and pop cans in the 5 gallon pails that are placed in every room.
LATE START: Reminder that Friday October 10 will be a 2 hour late start day. We will start the day with our usual late start schedule with shortened 3rd and 4th hours.
JUNIORS: The Junior class has HOMECOMING CONCESSIONS! This is our chance to make some bucks - we need volunteers for before, during and after the game. Sign up in the office if you can help out.
Also Juniors: please pay $10 class dues to Meghan Ramsey by November 1st.

PICTURE RETAKES: Will be Monday October 13.
GYMNASTICS: There is a signup sheet in the office for anyone interested in going out for the gymnastics coop team. We are cooped with Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau.
YEARBOOKS: They are on sale the month of September for $45.00. Beginning October 1 they will cost $55.00. Order forms are on the website as well as outside the High School office windows.

INFORMATION YOU STILL NEED TO KNOW:
SWEET TOOTH: You can purchase candy bouquets through Sweet Tooth. Baskets start at $10.00 and does include delivery to the other 2 school. There is also a $5.00 bouquet offered but is cash and carry only at the high school, no delivery. 24 hour notice is requested.
RECYCLING HAS ARRIVED: Please recycle your empty glass or plastic bottles in the aluminum can bucket in each room.
STUDENT DRIVERS: Please use the driveway by to the baseball field to enter and exit. The buses need the driveway closest to the school. We are trying to avoid bottlenecks and also for safety sake. When it snows please try to park close to the building and not out near the baseball field so the custodians can get the parking lot cleared.
CAR PASSES: No more car passes until further notice.
FUND RAISER: Help the Mel-Min Music Department raise funds by bringing in empty chip and snack bags, used up writing instruments, used up tape rolls, old shoes, empty Elmer’s glue bottles and glue sticks and miscellaneous electronic waste! See the poster and bin outside the library for details.
STUDENT OF THE MONTH: This year the staff at Melrose-Mindoro High School will be recognizing students each month for their positive behavior and positive contributions. At the end of each month students will be nominated and selected by the High School staff for a student of the month award. Students selected for Student of the Month honors will be notified during the first week of the following month. Know this...your attitude, behavior and efforts are appreciated.
ABSENCES: If you are planning to be gone for more than one day you must have it approved by Mr. Arzt and fill out a pink sheet available in the office.
FOR STUDENTS THAT ARE DROPPED OFF IN THE MORNING OR PICKED UP IN THE AFTERNOON: Please ask your parents to use the north or south parking lots. For safety reasons we are trying to keep cars out of the bus lane during bus drop off and pick up times. Thank for your cooperation.
STUDENT DRIVERS: Reminder: When you come upon a school bus with its red lights on/flashing, you must stop AND wait until the light go off before you proceed, whether the stop arm is in out. YOU MUST STOP AND WAIT.
WANT TO KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH THE OLD STUFF: Remember to bring your old cell phones, ink cartridges, and laser jet cartridges to the school office to be recycled.
COLLECTING FOR SCHOOLS: The school is collecting the Kwik Trip milk caps on specially marked milk containers, Campbells Soup Lables and Box Top for Education. Please save and drop them off to the High School Office.
